Reaching A New Normal

Messages From the Community

SurvivorshipCommunity

"I can't lie and say I don't think about cancer, I do but it lives in a corner of my mind like an ugly chair that I have designed the rest of the room around so it blends in.” – everyminute

The word "survivorship" refers to life after a cancer diagnosis, including life during and after treatment. We've asked our Community members to share their stories about navigating the active treatment rollercoaster and what life after a diagnosis is like. Read their inspiring stories of survivorship about getting through treatment and finding a new normal.

For more information on survivorship:

Please share what your new normal looks like after diagnosis and beyond by emailing community@breastcancer.org, or posting in the discussion board here.
