Harness the Power of Eating Seasonally

Messages From the Community

FarmersMarket

Let the seasons determine your menu!

For those of us entering fall, this is the season for fresh fruits and vegetables such as apples, pears, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, figs, cranberries, cabbage, squash, and kale — heartier produce that can stand up to cooler temperatures.

If you are entering spring, you’ll be looking at more delicate fruits and veggies such as asparagus, radishes, leafy greens, rhubarb, strawberries, and peas.

As we know, what you eat is really important before, during, and after treatment. But coming up with healthy, easy meals with seasonally fresh ingredients isn’t always simple, especially when your energy is low or your appetite is affected.

Exchange ideas, recipes, and tips with other members in our forum, Healthy Recipes for Everyday Living. You’ll feel better for it!
